Description

Forensic Science Northern Ireland (FSNI) is seeking to establish a contract for the supply and maintenance of a Fourier Transform Infrared System (FTIR). The FTIR will be required for the chemical analysis of explosives, explosives precursors, drugs, pharmaceutical products and unknown materials as part of a suite of instruments used in the identification of these materials. The initial contract is for a one year period, or the duration of the manufacturer’s warranty, whichever is longer, with the option to extend for a further period of four years to cover a servicing and maintenance package. There is an additional option to extend the contract for a further five year period to cover a servicing and maintenance package.
