Description

Service contract for WAN services for administrative and production use. The procurement is for WAN services with accompanying services, connection to public networks, and the procurement of any installation services, etc. - as well as the related administrative systems and services. Click https://permalink.mercell.com/202099538.aspx. Lot 1: NRK needs a new, modern and flexible WAN that will both meet today's and future needs. The agreement will provide NRK with a WAN and contribution network that links NRK's head office, district and regional offices, as well as other relevant locations, together with our data centres. The network must enable transmiting of audio and video signals with very little delay at the same time as ordinary data traffic. The network must also ensure that the security of sensitive material and information about confidential sources is safeguarded. NRK primarily wants an offer for optical connections between NRK's locations and 2 data centers in Oslo and Trondheim, as well as connections between the data centers, where NRK is building its own MPLS-based WAN network for media streams and other data traffic. Certain alternative connections such as e.g. connections delivered through the supplier's own MPLS network could exceptionally be accepted.
