Description
FA1324/1 New Fine Bubble Membrane Diffuser (FBMD) and Aeration Systems. To supply products and equipment and, where required, technical labour for the end to end process, from design to install and commissioning, as required for new aeration growth schemes. FA1324/2 Replacement Fine Bubble Membrane Diffusers (FBMD's), Aeration Pipework, Parts and Equipment. Supply replacement Fine Bubble Membrane Diffusers (FBMD’s), pipework, parts and equipment below the liquid level in the aeration process on existing assets. Including labour, where required, for the end to end process, from design through to commissioning. FA1324/3 Technical Labour. Service providers for the supply of skilled labour to facilitate site works. Including projects for decommissioning works, replacement works and, new installation and commissioning works for kit and equipment to be supplied under lot 1 and lot 2. FA1324/1 New Fine Bubble Membrane Diffuser (FBMD) an Aeration Systems. Scope will include the design, supply, install and commissioning of new aeration growth schemes. The fine bubble membrane diffuser system is to include all necessary below-water elements, including fine bubble diffusers, diffuser holders, air distribution pipework, air release systems, manifolds and drop-legs. Standard efficiency fine bubble membrane diffuser systems will have a standard oxygen transfer efficiency (SOTE) in the range of 6 %-7 % per metre depth of submergence. High efficiency fine bubble membrane diffuser systems will have a standard oxygen transfer efficiency (SOTE) in the range of 7 %-9 % per metre depth of submergence. The service provider(s) will offer a complete end-to-end service solution including the supply of all technical labour needed for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of complete FBMD and aeration systems. For single, large scale requirements, the service provider(s) may be required to ‘project manage’ to ensure that all goods are supplied in a timely manner, and to minimise project costs. New aeration growth schemes are typically delivered by our alliance partners, and the service provider(s) for this lot of the agreement will be expected to work collaboratively with our alliance partners to deliver the most efficient and cost effective technical solutions. Thames Water reserve the right to use alternative technical labour for the installation and commissioning works, and where alternative technical labour is to be used, these labour resources will be sourced from the service provider(s) awarded lot 3 of this agreement. FA1324/2 Replacement Fine Bubble Membrane Diffusers (FBMD's), Aeration Pipework, Parts and Equipment. Scope will include supply of Fine Bubble Membrane Diffusers (FBMD’s) and aeration pipework and equipment only, and the supply of Fine Bubble Membrane Diffusers (FBMD’s) and aeration pipework and equipment, plus the installation and commissioning of the replacement equipment supplied. Where required, this may also include re-design works in order to improve and maximise the efficiency of the existing aeration installation. All equipment that is to be supplied will be compatible with our existing asset installations. This lot of the agreement is primarily required to support our programme of replacement projects that are delivered by our maintenance project teams. In addition, our waste water sites may also have ad-hoc requirements, e.g. small repairs, or modifications. The service provider(s) will provide all necessary parts, tools and equipment, and where needed, the competent personnel to enable the works to be completed in a proper and safe manner. For replacement projects, the service provider may also be required to ‘project manage’ to ensure that ancillary services required to facilitate projects are delivered, e.g. cleaning of aeration lane(s) and removal and disposal of arisings, removal and disposal of decommissioned parts, equipment and pipework. Thames Water reserve the right to use alternative technical labour for the replacement works, installation and commissioning of the replacement equipment, and where alternative technical labour is to be used, these labour resources will be sourced from the service provider(s) awarded lot 3 of this agreement. FA1324/3 Technical Labour. For installation and commissioning of parts and equipment supplied under lot 1 and lot 2. Primarily, the service provider(s) will be required to support our Maintenance projects teams for their programme of replacement projects under lot 2. The service provider will provide all necessary tools and equipment, and competent personnel to enable the works to be completed in a proper and safe manner. In addition, the service provider(s) may also be required to work with our alliance partners for the delivery of new aeration growth schemes under lot 1. The service provider(s) on this lot of the agreement will work collaboratively with the service provider(s) on lot 1 and lot 2 in order to deliver a joined up approach for the delivery of all projects.
