Water Systems Compliancy Contract

West Suffolk Council are currently out to tender for the provision of a water systems compliancy specialist contractor to undertake the following duties at property managed by, and within the boundaries of, West Suffolk Council.<br />- Examination and advice on improving current and proposed overarching legislative and best practice management controls / policies.<br />- Legionella risk assessments and reviews<br />- Water hygiene monitoring and controls (Prevention of Legionella).<br />- Shower de-scale / cleaning.<br />- Tap / outlet de-scale / cleaning.<br />- Water sampling and laboratory analysis reporting.<br />- Legionella training and certification of those responsible persons on sites for water services.<br />- Prescribed method cleaning of water systems and chemical disinfection.<br />- Maintenance / upgrade / refurbishment / inspect & report of storage tanks / calorifiers.<br />- Maintenance of on-going site water dosing systems.<br />- Maintenance, monitoring and testing of rainwater recycling plant systems.<br />- Maintenance, monitoring and testing of vehicle wash recycling plant systems.<br />The contract will be for a period of three years commencing on 1 August 2022, with an option to extend for a maximum of a further two years.<br /><br />This opportunity is available in the `Current Tenders` area of portal.
