Rutland Children's Home (Service Design Opportunity)

Description

Rutland County Council is exploring the development of a new service delivery model for a children’s residential care home that it is currently in the process of establishing, aimed at providing in-county residential and outreach support for children with complex emotional support needs. The Council is seeking early input from potential delivery partners to help shape the design and implementation of this new model. This includes gathering insights into best practices, staffing approaches, partnership working, and outcome measurement to ensure the service is effective, child-centred, and sustainable. Aims The aim of this soft market testing exercise is to: Explore innovative and effective approaches to delivering residential care for children with complex emotional support needs, some at risk of or subject to DoLs. Gather expert views on the ideal service model, including staffing, therapeutic approaches, and integration with wider council services. Identify key features and practices that support the wellbeing, development, and reunification of children with their families.
