Insurance for Members of the European Parliament: (Lot I) Accident Insurance, (Lot II) Insurance Against loss and Theft and (Lot III) Insurance for Members on Official Travel

The European Parliament has decided to issue an invitation to tender with a view to procuring insurance services for its members, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the financial regulation and secondary provisions: Lot I: Insurance Against any Accidents Suffered by Members Worldwide 24H/24, 7D/7; Lot II: Insurance Against Loss or Theft of Personal Belongings for Members in Parliament’s Premises andDuring Official Travel; Lot III: Insurance and Assistance for Members on Official Travel. Provision of insurance services covering the risk of accidents which may happen to members of the European Parliament anywhere in the world, during their term of office. Provision of insurance services covering the risks of loss and theft of personal effects and property of members of the European Parliament anywhere in the world, during official travel, during their term of office. Provision of insurance services and assistance services in case of an illness or accident requiring urgent assistance, for members of the European Parliament anywhere in the world, during official travel. The assistance also covers the organisation of repatriation and payment of ancillary costs.
