Multi Supplier Framework Agreement for the Supply of Construction Consumables for Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB)

Description

This public procurement competition relates to the establishment of a Multi Party Framework ("Framework") for the Provision of Construction Consumables primarily in the WWETB Training Centres. WWETB run Apprenticeship Training Programmes for Wood Manufacturing & Finishing, Plumbing, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery and Brick & Stonelaying under Phase 2 of the Apprentice Training Programmes.It is the intention of the Contracting Authority to establish a Multi-Supplier Framework from which call-off contracts by ‘request for quotes’ will be run by the training centres as requirements arise over the lifetime of the Framework. WWETB acknowledges that the market is volatile at present with respect to timber supplies etc. Due to the increased costs for raw materials and shipping costs across the various product categories we will drawdown from the framework panel on a request for quote basis on market values at the time of order.
