See below for the description published on ETenderWales when tendering the contract.This is a Further Competition of the County Council of the City and County of Cardiff, South East and Mid Wales Highways Framework Agreement Dated January 2023, Lot 3 refers.Tender Registration Number: SEWH-SEWH-3188.Brief description of Works: The scheme comprises of the construction of 17 dropped tactile uncontrolled crossings throughout the Danygraig area, a residential area located in the northeast of Porthcawl.The works are described in detail in The Scope (Appendix 2 to the Agreement).The client has allowed 3 weeks for planning between the appointment of the Principal Contractor and the commencement of the Works on-site.Contract Terms and Conditions: Institution of Civil Engineers’ NEC 4 Engineering and Construction Contract, June 2017 (incorporating October 2020 amendments) with main option A (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule).
