Market Engagement Event: Re-Commissioning of Community Advice, Links & Mental Health Support Service (CALMHS) and the Community Autism Support & Advice (CASA) Service in Gloucestershire

Published

Description

We are inviting all interested stakeholders to attend a market engagement session to find out more about the re-commissioning of the current Community Advice, Links & Mental Health Support Service (CALMHS) and the Community Autism Support & Advice (CASA) Service in Gloucestershire. CALMHS supports people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental ill health in Gloucestershire. The service currently provides one-to-one support to support with identifying and working towards personalised goals, peer support and community-based wellbeing activities. CASA is for all adults in Gloucestershire with a diagnosis of autism, and their families and friends. The service currently provides groups, drop-ins, and individual one-to-one support and supports neurodiverse people to reach their potential and connect them with their community. After undertaking an evaluation of the current services, we would value the opportunity to feedback the themes that have arisen and the resulting proposed designs for the future services from April 2024. The session will allow an opportunity for discussion around the proposed changes for one or both of the services. This will give attendees an opportunity to raise questions and identify any potential gaps in order to ensure future services in Gloucestershire are robust and effective in addressing the needs of the individuals accessing them . The event will be held face to face on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 , arrival from 09:00 for a 09:20 start-12:30pm at The Pavilion, Hatherley Lane, Cheltenham, GL51 6PN. For stakeholders who would like to attend to find out about CASA ONLY you are able to join us at our first coffee break at 10.45am. For stakeholders who would like to attend to find out about CALMHS ONLY you are welcome to leave at our first break. Slides and information will be shared with all attendees after the event and will include a section on local context which will be given at 9.20am. Keywords: Neurodiverse, Wellbeing, Autism, Mental Health
