Bishop Auckland College are requesting tenders from a recognised service provider to manage their cleaning services to the indicated contract. Providers must be able to demonstrate their capability to deliver the services via the documentation to be submitted, this service requirement will include the daily, weekly, monthly service requirements as well as managing TUPE process for the current staff. Within this current staff profile we would indicate there are some current, and post, cleaning operatives seeking Fair and Equal pay claims from past employment. Currently the incumbent contractor is in consultation with legal bodies on this process but no resolution has been agreed at the point of this tender opportunity. We would advise that we understand that this element is potentially transferable under Tupe regulations and advise bidding contractors to seek their own guidance on this area and bid with your own knowledge gained for any costs, charges and consultation requirements.
