Provision of Accountancy Services, Audit Committee Support Services and Internal Control Support Services

The services detailed in the RFT will be required to be provided to The Heritage Council in the period covering the time between the commencement of the career break of the current Head of Finance (19th September, 2022) and the when that post is filled. If the post filled earlier than expected some of the services may not be required. Sage Line 50, Thesaurus Payroll and a bespoke system for administration of grants and the Heritage in Schools programme are the key in systems in use in The Heritage Council. An online T&S system is currently in the final stages of configuration. Currently the finance team currently consists of Head of Finance who is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a finance executive officer and an accounts payable clerical officer.
