Opportunity Sheffield is seeking to commission an HGV Driver Training Programme for individuals who are unemployed or economically inactive and participating in the Pathways to Work initiative. The programme is intended to equip participants with the skills, licences, and qualifications required to access employment within the logistics, transport, distribution, construction, and waste sectors, where there is sustained demand for qualified drivers. By completing the training, participants will improve their employability and earning potential, and gain access to sustainable employment opportunities within the transport and supply chain industry. The programme is specifically designed to support residents of Sheffield who are currently out of work to progress into long-term, stable employment.
