Framework Contract for the supply of Mobile Harbour Cranes, Rail-mounted cranes and Material Handlers

Belfast Harbour Commissioners is establishing a Framework for the purchase of Harbour Mobile Cranes (HMC), Rail-mounted Cranes (RMC) and Material Handlers (MH). The Framework is intended to run for 8 years. Lot 1: Mobile Harbour Cranes The fabrication, purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of Harbour Mobile Cranes with the option for BHC to purchase support and/or servicing. Such Cranes will be used to load and unload grains, animal feedstuffs, coal products, fertiliser, salt and other dry bulk materials from ocean-going vessels up to Panamax size. Unloading may take place onto quay or hopper as appropriate. Lot 2: Rail-mounted Cranes The fabrication, purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of Rail-mounted Cranes with the option for BHC to purchase support and/or servicing. Such Cranes will be used to load and unload grains, animal feedstuffs, coal products, fertiliser, salt and other dry bulk materials from ocean-going vessels up to Panamax size. Unloading may take place onto quay or hopper as appropriate. Lot 3: Material Handlers The fabrication, purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of hydraulic Material Handlers with the option for BHC to purchase support and/or servicing. Such Cranes will be used to load and unload dry and break bulk materials up to vessels of 50,000 deadweight tons.
