Food security is a key priority area for the Norwegian government, which is also working on unifying its policies on climate and the environment and its development policy. The Norwegian government plans to strengthen its efforts on food security in development cooperation, of which food production is an important element. The Department for Evaluation calls for tender proposals for a mapping and evidence synthesis of process evaluations of climate adaptation in food production interventions. The assignment is divided in two phases: an inception phase and a synthesis phase. The purpose of this synthesis study is to contribute to the body of knowledge related to implementation of climate adaptation in food production interventions. The main intended user groups of this synthesis are parts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Norad.
