In the NovoCrops project (Novo Nordisk Foundation Challenge grant NNF19OC005658; Accelerated Domestication of Resilient Climate Change Friendly Plant Species; https://novonordiskfonden.dk/en/news/novo-nordisk-foundation-awards-dkk-120-million-for-research-on-crop-resilience/) seeds of lupin (Lupinus angustifolius) are to become detoxified through a targeted mutagenesis approach. No protocols for generating targeted non-GMO mutants of lupin are currently publicly availably and no company in the world offers services to generate such plants.
