Description

Birmingham Airport has complied its asset management plan, whereupon it has identified a programme of lift modernisation across the Airport site. 3 lifts are required for modernisation in 2018, with a further 2 smaller lifts in 2019. Prioritisation of subsequent lift modernisation may change with operational requirements. BAL is looking to appoint a contractor to undertake the lift modernisation. The framework will be awarded for a 3 year period, with option to extend beyond this subject to satisfactory performance. Modernisation of lift units across BAL site. To include removal and disposal of current components in situ. Warranty required, with contractor responsible for maintenance/servicing under the warranty period. Beyond the warranty period, maintenance to be undertaken by the Airports Lift Term Maintenance contractor.
