9-BYM-2023 Contract for mapping and controlling foreign plant species

Description

The main intention of the procurement is to ensure annual systematic control of selected foreign plant species with a very high ecological risk, so that these are reduced in amount and the number of occurrences, as well as preventing further spread of them. In the long term, the goal is to eradicate 'kjempebjørnekjeks', 'tromsøpalme', and 'kjempespringfrø' and to reduce the occurrence of 'russesvalerot' significantly. There will also be a need to map and control other foreign plant species with a high and very high ecological risk within selected areas and concrete locations in the municipality. In order to fulfil the goal and measures, all pre-defined occurrences are to be looked at on the stated dates and controlled if plants are found, and the number of plants that are found are to be registered before control was carried out (0 is also a number). This must be reported in the attached registration form. Oslo Municipality, c/o the Agency for Urban Environment would thus like to enter into a contract with a tenderer that can carry out this work. Lot 1: The main intention of the procurement is to ensure annual systematic control of selected foreign plant species with a very high ecological risk, so that these are reduced in amount and the number of occurrences, as well as preventing further spread of them. The work also includes mapping. The contracting authority would like to procure a tenderer for systematic control of selected foreign plants in the contract period. The total price for the procurement also includes options.
