Description

The Works required the construction of a new Civic Amenity Site at Gort, Co. Galway. The new civic amenity facility will accept domestic waste streams from the locality with a maximum capacity of c. 700 tonnes per annum. The proposed works will consist of the following; • modifications and additions to the existing boundary fence; • general site clearance and excavation works including excavation within rock • construction of a large concrete yard area; • surface water management system including attenuation; • foul water management system • new potable water connection • installation of a prefabricated administration/welfare unit; • installation of prefabricated bunded and un-bunded storage units • mechanical and electrical works o new electrical and telecoms connection o access control system; o CCTV installation; o fire detection and alarming; o public lighting • soft landscaping and fencing works.
