North Lanarkshire Council are developing a Woodland & Forestry Framework which will allow for delivery of sustainable management of key woodland sites owned by North Lanarkshire Council ensuring the long-term health, biodiversity and where appropriate, productivity of the woodland in respect to timber harvesting. The audits form a critical development phase of the Council’s emerging Woodland & Forestry Framework, which aims to secure the long‑term health, resilience, biodiversity and where appropriate productive potential of the Council’s woodland estate.
