Pre-Construction Services for New Builyeon Road Primary School and Early Learning Centre

A Contractor is required to construct a new primary school and nursery at Builyeon Road, in South Queensferry, to serve a new housing development in the area and surrounding community. Lot 1: A Contractor is required to construct a new primary school and nursery at Builyeon Road, in South Queensferry, to serve a new housing development in the area and surrounding community. The school site is centrally located to the north of the development site and will serve the existing residential areas to the north and new developments to the south and east. The current brief is for a new two stream (15 classroom) Primary School and Early Years facility catering to 128 nursery children between the ages of two and five. The project has recently concluded RIBA Stage 3 Detailed Design and a Contractor is now required to provide input into the remaining design process and to manage the procurement of the final design under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA). Subject to approval, following the PCSA period, the Contractor will enter into a construction contract to carry out construction of the new primary school and nursery. The project will be constructed to Passivhaus Classic Standard and shall follow the principles of the Scottish Government’s Net Zero Public Sector Building Standard.
