Description
The Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre (QTIC) at the University of Bristol provides SMEs, students, researchers and industry with facilities and equipment to support innovation in Quantum and related technologies. Most of our members are developing silicon chips, including integrated photonics systems. We maintain a pool of equipment which is available for users to rent on a flexible basis. We focus on providing equipment that is likely to be in demand by current and future members. The required equipment is a single imaging system to enable the inspection of silicon chips and similar samples. It is intended to allow users to image features, including defects, on chips as a critical part of the R&D process, ultimately accelerating the progression of innovative new products to impact.
