Supply Chain notice: FDIS – Boiler Replacements - FY2023/24 – Amey Central Region

Central Region – East / West / East Midlands & North Brief Scope of Works • Boiler removal and replacement including new flue • All existing and new condensate pipes are to be routed or rerouted to remain within the building fabric. Note: This may require boiler relocation • Boilers in bedroom are to be relocated • Three-way valve removal and replacement • Central heating pump and isolation valves replacement (heat only boilers) • Install / replace frost stat • Room thermostat removal and replacement with manual, digital control, if required • Installation of new TRVs and lockshield valves • Heating system to be fully drained and powerflushed • Installation of magnetic system filter • Introduction of a rust inhibitor • Electric / thermostatic shower replacement • Vented / unvented cylinder replacement - including insulation of associated exposed pipework and back up immersion replacement. Note: Services Provider is to allow in their boiler rate for three (3) evidenced attempts of access each to property. After which access difficulties must be escalated to Amey immediately after it occurs, and Amey will endeavour to deal with the problem.
