The contracting authority has adopted a dignity and respect statement of principles and policy which adopts common standards throughout the parliament to promote the maintenance of a respectful workplace and a positive working environment. The purpose of these principles is to encourage best practice and a safe and harmonious workplace, free of bullying, harassment and sexual harassment and to provide a mechanism for managing any complaints arising under the policy.
