Floor covering installation works

Rykneld Homes Ltd (RHL) is seeking to appoint one contractor to provide a floor covering installation service to occupied and void properties in North East Derbyshire. Bidders will deliver works to the RHL Lettable Standard and associated specifications. One of Rykneld Homes main corporate objectives is to 'Set our customers up to succeed'. We take pride in delivering these values to our customers lives and as such, the quality of workmanship and the resulting finished product is of the highest standard. We expect our chosen contractor to operate with the same exacting ethos. Works will be structured on a call-off basis. The contract is for 3 years in length with potential for a further one-year extension. The contractor will work in the North, Central and South of the district. The contractor will be appointed to complement RHL's inhouse Direct Labour Force in order to ensure sufficient capacity and flexibility to allow required works to be completed in a timely manner. Due to the unpredictable nature of reported works, there will be fluctuations in demand for the works required. It is only possible to provide estimated numbers of installations based on previous years. This has fluctuated between 100 Kitchens, 80 Bathrooms, 30 wet-rooms and 15 carpet installations. Contrat value is £120,000 per annum
