Description
Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council and The Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver Integrated Child Sexual Exploitation and Prevention Services for children, young people and families. The Child Sexual Exploitation Service (CSE) will provide direct support across Derby City and Derbyshire to children and young people aged less than 18 years who are being, or at significant risk of being, sexually exploited and will deliver awareness raising activities to improve knowledge and skills to help prevent child sexual exploitation, increase and simplify the reporting of CSE, provide court base support for victims and witnesses and to improve the quality of support for victims and their families. The objective of the service is to support children and young people in accordance with a person centred plan that improves their individual outcomes and builds future resilience against risk of sexual exploitation. This will require flexibility of attitude and an open-minded approach in the delivery of supporting children, young people and families with the best interests of the service user being paramount. The initial contract period is 12 months; the contract is estimated to commence 17th August 2015 and expire 16th August 2016. There will be an option to extend the contract for three further years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum potential contract period is four years. There is guaranteed funding for year 1 of the contract of up to £160,000. Therefore the annual contract value is indicated as £160,000 for the life of the contract. However, there maybe potential to increase the annual value in future years should any of the Commissioning Partners wish to buy additional elements of the contract or include additional services of a similar nature. In this instance the annual contract value after year 1 will not exceed £250,000. Please note: There is no guarantee of any further funding past year 1 or that the annual value will increase to the potential maximum value. The overall contract value over the four year is between £640,000 and £910,000. The contract has not been divided into Lots to ensure cohesion of the service across the Commissioning Partnership.
