Clare County Council is inviting competent Building Contractors to submit Expressions of Interest for specialist refurbishemnt and new build works to the existing Sweeney Library and Theatre space. This is a restricted procedure, only those selected will be invited to submit tenders. Works to be carried out include: Internal refurbishment including new mezzanine, gallery and provision of new internal room enclosures. Mechanical & Electrical works throughout including specialist theatre fit out, lighting, sound installations and information technology to a high standard. External works to include, hard and soft landscaping, accessibility works, new contemporary extension, extensive refurbishment works to existing library and theatre. Approximate G.I.F.A = 771m2 (new build extension 261m2 and refurbishment 510m2). For your information drawings indicating the proposal are included in "Additional Information" (item 5.2) but are subject to change. Final drawings will be included in the Request for Tender documentation available to those invited to tender.
