The University’s Strategic Plan (UL@50) has been recently recalibrated and reflects our ambitious goals for the future. The two documents at the above link provide important context for these programmes and responses to this Request for Tender should illustrate how the programme will be tailored to help the University to develop leadership capacity to help advance and realise its strategic ambitions. The recalibrated strategic plan is a strong statement of our commitment to further evolution as a research-led University. The key goals include the following: Goal 1. Transforming Education. Goal 2. Research Excellence. Goal 3. Green Internationalisation. Goal 4. City and Region. Goal 5. Operating Model. The presentation regarding recalibration (available at the above link) provides a summary of the University’s key areas of focus. The implementation process has been strengthened with the introduction of new KPIs for every Department and Division. A culture survey is imminent, and this will help to further focus attention to continue to forge the culture of the University and how we live our values, which are outlined below: • Creative and Innovative • Inclusive and Diverse • Ethical and Sustainable • Supportive and Transformational • Ambitious and Driven To help fulfil these goals, the University is investing in developing our leadership capacity. It is expected that both programmes will be embedded in the strategic plan, helping participants to identify how the goals of the plan might be achieved and helping to shape and progress their role in this. Willingness to customise and co-create the programme for this result will be key. Ideally the same provider would provide both programmes but the University reserves the right to award each lot to separate companies.
