Provision of Independent Assurance Partner Support Service

UCD has a number of significant institutional transformation programmes in hand, planned and anticipated, broadly fitting under the ‘digital transformation’ category, with the associated impacts on people, processes, systems and culture. These transformations are focused on the services, operations and technical infrastructure which enable UCD’s mission and deliver its vision. We wish to acquire assurance from an external source in order to apply independent technical, strategic, regulatory and contractual expertise to assess and monitor the performance and delivery of the initiatives. The assurance partner will assess the hard disciplines (methods, tools, processes) and soft skills (leadership and people management) but also consider elements such as the context, content and complexity of a project and its environment to identify critical success factors and barriers to success. The Assurance Partner will be required to coordinate their activities with the UCD sponsor of this assurance work.
