Appointment of specialist energy solutions company with expertise to carry out multidisciplinary functions including grant compliant energy surveys, solar / renewable designs, resident engagement as preparatory services supporting the Retrofit as Scale (RaS) project The RaS pilot involves a model to test and develop the principles as part of a prototype to reduce carbon emissions at scale across our housing stock while providing lower energy costs for residents. It is the intention of the Council to set up, as a proto-type, a special purpose vehicle which will facilitate the installation of Solar PV an Battery energy storage systems across 2,000-3,000 homes. The proposed approach is the first of its kind at any significant scale. The RaS pilot involves a model to test and develop the principles as part of a prototype to reduce carbon emissions at scale across our housing stock while providing lower energy costs for residents.
