The Trust intends to directly award a contract for the supply, installation, training, and ongoing support of the Sonata® Transcervical Fibroid Ablation System for the treatment of uterine fibroids. The Sonata® Ablation System is a proprietary, integrated medical device protected by intellectual property and exclusive rights held by Hologic. The device is used for the treatment of uterine fibroids.
