Description

Network Rail requires the development, manufacture and supply of DC Breaker with integrated shorting capability consisting of either: — track feeder circuit breaker integrated with a short circuit disconnector, or — track feeder circuit breaker integrated with a short circuit switch. To be used as part of its 750V DC distribution switchgear in order to meet the needs of its internal and external customers as part of its electricity safe isolation program to maintain and improve Network Rail's isolation safety performance. Network Rail is seeking a supplier to develop, manufacture and supply DC Breaker with integrated shorting capability to be used as part of its 750V DC distribution switchgear. The proposed supply contract will be awarded under a zero value framework agreement which will be for an initial 4 year term plus a potential extension of up to 2 years.
