Supply of sports equipment for the European Parliament's sports centres

Description

The European Parliament is intending to award a public contract with a view to entering into direct contracts with economic operators in order to equip its sports centres. The contract is divided into 2 lots: — lot 1: Brussels site, — lot 2: Strasbourg site. Tenderers may tender for one or more lots. The lots are independent and may be awarded to different tenderers. The 2 lots both have 2 parts, A and B: — part A: purchase of resistance training machines and equipment, — part B: monthly hire of cardio machines. The contract scope is estimated as follows: Lot 1 — Brussels: 14 resistance training machines / items of equipment and 38 cardio machines; Lot 2 — Strasbourg: 52 resistance training machines / items of equipment and 20 cardio machines. The 2 lots also include the following services, which must be performed according to the highest professional practices. In particular, the contractor will need to: — notify the European Parliament at least 14 calendar days before the envisaged delivery date. The European Parliament and the contractor may agree to a single or phased delivery, as circumstances permit, — make deliveries free of carriage and packaging charges, — install the equipment in situ as directed by the European Parliament's fitness trainer, — remove packaging and have it recycled, — commission the equipment and show the European Parliament's fitness trainers how to operate the resistance training and cardio machines. Acceptance of the equipment will be carried out at the completion of these stages. The contractor will also need to carry out: — any routine maintenance on the resistance training and cardio machines, — breakdown repairs to the resistance training and cardio machines within 48 hours of receiving the call-out request by e-mail from the European Parliament, — removal of the equipment delivered under part B at the end of the contract.
