Description

The purpose of the consultation is to contribute to the development, evolution, documentation and validation of global reanalysis and OMIs products disseminated in the GLO MFC. The purpose of lot 1 is to provide Mercator Ocean International with global physical reanalysis products that meet the requirements described in this document, in order to generate a multi-system ensemble product. The purpose of lot 2 is to provide Mercator Ocean International with global physical reanalysis products that meet the requirements described in this document, in order to generate a multi-system ensemble product. The purpose of lot 3 is to provide Mercator Ocean International with global physical reanalysis products that meet the requirements described in this document, in order to generate a multi-system ensemble product. The purpose of lot 4 is to participate in the intercomparison of the different reanalyses that will be used to generate the overall global multi-system product and to harmonize the validation/intercomparison methods and the generation of global indicators that can then be distributed by the GLO-MFC. The purpose of lot 5 is to participate in the intercomparison of the different reanalyses that will be used to generate the overall global multi-system product and the other regional reanalyses distributed in CMEMS, and to harmonise the validation/comparison methods and indicator generations concerning the different European seas (North East Atlantic, Channel, North Sea, Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea) that could subsequently complement the regional indicators developed in the regional MFCs. The purpose of lot 6 is to participate in the intercomparison of the different reanalyses that will be used to generate the overall global multi-system product and to harmonize the validation/intercomparison methods and the generation of ocean indicators for the tropical regions that can then be distributed by the GLO-MFC. The purpose of lot 7 is to participate in the intercomparison of the different reanalyses that will be used to generate the overall global multi-system product and to harmonize the validation/intercomparison methods and the generation of ocean indicators for the mid latitudes that can then be distributed by the GLO-MFC. The purpose of lot 8 is to participate in the intercomparison of the different reanalyses that will be used to generate the overall global multi-system product and to harmonise the validation/intercomparison methods and the generation of ocean indicators for the high latitudes that can then be distributed by the GLO-MFC. The purpose of lot 9 is to prepare the extension of CMEMS global reanalysis products to include the pre-altimetric period and in particular from 1979 onwards when satellite observations of sea surface temperature and sea ice concentration became available. The purpose of lot 10 is to prepare the extension of CMEMS global reanalysis products to include the pre-altimetric period and in particular from 1979 onwards when satellite observations of sea surface temperature and sea ice concentration became available. The purpose of lot 11 is to prepare the extension of CMEMS global reanalysis products to include the pre-altimetric period and in particular from 1979 onwards when satellite observations of sea surface temperature and sea ice concentration became available.
