Description

The Royal Household has entered into a framework agreement for the delivery of electricity at spot price (Nord Pool spot), with a fixed mark-up throughout the entire lifetime of the contract per kilowatt hour. The framework agreement will cover the contracting authority's need for electricity at the Royal Properties, including the Royal Palace, Oscarshall Palace, and Bygdøy Kongsgård, etc. The scope of the framework agreement is estimated to be an annual consumption of approx. 4 gigawatt hours (GWH), based on historical figures from previous years. The physical delivery must be adapted to the contracting authority's actual energy use. The contract value is estimated to be up to NOK 6 500 000 excluding VAT for the entire contract period, including options.
