Operation of boat route Kleppestø-Strandkaien and boat route Knarvik-Frekhaug-Strandkaien

Description

The purpose of the procurement is to establish operator(s) for operation of boat route between Kleppestø and Strandkaien and boat route between Strandkaien, Frekhaug and Knarvik. The contracting authority will enter into a contract for each of the routes. Tenderers can submit tenders for one or both of the two routes. It will not be possible to submit one joint tender for the two routes. Sub-contract 1 The Askøy route will apply from the signing date until and including 03.12.2023, with an option for the contracting authority to extend the contract. Sub-contract 2 The Nordhordland route will apply from the signing date until and including 02.07.2023, with an option for the contracting authority to extend the contract. Lot 1: Askøy route: Kleppestø - Strandkaien Sub-contract 1 The Askøy route will apply from the signing date until and including 03.12.2023, with an option for the contracting authority to extend the contract multiple times up until 19 January 2025, see point 1.11.6.1 of the contract. Operational commencement of the connections will be 1 January 2023. The contract has an estimated total contract sum/value of around NOK 71 million - NOK 81 million. The boat route will be operated with one vessel. In addition, the operator must be able to deploy a reserve vessel as needed. The contracting authority has the right to implement changes in the Route production, as well as other types of changes in the execution of the assignment during the contract period. Lot 2: Nordhordland route: Knarvik - Frekhaug - Strandkaien Sub-contract 2 Nordhordland route will apply from the signing date until and including 02.07.2023, with an option for the contracting authority to extend the contract multiple times up until 19 January 2025, see point 1.11.6.1 of the contract. Operational commencement of the connections will be 1 January 2023. The contract has an estimated total contract sum/value of around NOK 47 million - NOK 52 million for the Nordhordland route. The boat route will be operated with one vessel. In addition, the operator must be able to deploy a reserve vessel as needed. The contracting authority has the right to implement changes in the Route production, as well as other types of changes in the execution of the assignment during the contract period.
