Coiste Forbartha Pobail CFTR is a community Group in Gaeltacht na nDeise, Co. Waterford, tasked with the development of an all-weather recreational facility for the Gaeltacht's youth and overall community. The Project involves the construction of a 90m x 50m outdoor all-weather surface with internal and external multipurpose ball walls, floodlighting and security fencing. The available site is green field, sloped with shale type rock predominant across the site. The works involve bulk earthworks (with a balance between areas for excavation and filling), drainage, decommissioning and removal of existing septic tank, installation of new wastewater treatment system, services/lighting, fencing, footpaths, synthetic playing surface with shock pad and supply of playing itch equipment.
