Whitehall Infant and Whitehall Junior are primary schools in Uxbridge, Middlesex. The infant school has approximately 280 students aged between 3 and 7 years of age and is supported by a team of 57 teaching and support staff, whilst the junior school has approximately 410 students aged between 7 and 11 years of age and is supported by a team of 58 teaching and support staff. The schools are not aware of any of the staff in the catering team having LGPS pension schemes. There are dining halls within each site with a modern, well-equipped kitchen based within the junior school serving both sites.The Headteachers, Mrs Manjit Bringan and Mrs Anneline Moloi, are developing the services to not only reflect the high aspirations of the school, and as such are tendering their catering services to deliver the very best service for every student at the school. The contract for both sites, will commence on 1st of August 2025 for an initial three years, with an option to extend for one year, plus Lot 1: Whitehall Infant and Whitehall Junior are primary schools in Uxbridge, Middlesex. The infant school has approximately 280 students aged between 3 and 7 years of age and is supported by a team of 57 teaching and support staff, whilst the junior school has approximately 410 students aged between 7 and 11 years of age and is supported by a team of 58 teaching and support staff. There are dining halls within each site with a modern, well-equipped kitchen based within the junior school serving both sites.The schools will use a two-stage restricted process, beginning with a Selection Questionnaire (SQ) stage followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage after shortlisting. This process is managed under the Light Touch Regime, and the schools reserve the right to refine the award criteria throughout. Cohesion Consulting Ltd is conducting this tender process on behalf of their clients. To support the schools in the procurement, a small Consultancy fee of £2,500 per school will be charged to the winning bidder by the schools. It is to be paid to the Schools upon contract signature, which is expected to be within 30 days of award. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pay a kitchen usage fee of £4,000 per annum to Whitehall Junior School. This fee will increase by 3.5% per annum or the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate, whichever is greater. The fee is intended to cover the cost of maintaining, operating and providing access to the School’s kitchen facilities.
