Tees, Esk and Wear Valley's NHS Foundation Trust have awarded a contract for Taxi Services to the following suppliers Lot 1 County Durham and Darlington - Take Me Group Lot 2 Harrogate - Town Taxis Harrogate Lot 3 Hartlepool and Stockton - Middlesbrough Borough Cars Lot 4 Northallerton - Middlesbrough Borough Cars Lot 5 Scarborough and Malton - Nippys Taxis Lot 6 Teesside - Middlesbrough Borough Cars Lot 7 York and Selby - Veezu Limited The contract has been awarded for a period of 36 month with 2 x 12 Month optional extensions. Lot 1: Durham & Darlington Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust had a requirement for a taxi and courier service from an appropriately qualified independent provider for taxi services. The provision was for a sustainable taxi and courier services for the conveyance of patients including wheelchair users and children who are eligible for hospital transport, together with staff and light goods for both routine and ad hoc requirements. The service is required to be available 24 hours a day, including weekends, bank holidays and public holidays 24/7. The contract for this piece of work is awarded to the chosen supplier as above for a period of 36 months with 2 x 12 months optional extensions commencing on 1st June 2025.
