Development, supply and testing of a Galileo open service authentication user terminal ‘OS-NMA’

Description

Development and supply of at least 3 prototypes of an open service navigation message authentication user terminal, meeting smart (digital) tachograph application's requirements at a sufficient level of maturity to, at aminimum, carry out a demonstration in a representative environment (i.e. technology readiness level ‘TRL’7) — stage 1; assessment of the prototypes' performance under real conditions, i.e. using real signal in space (SiS) up to the maximum extent, against a full set of possible spoofing threats and following the requirements of the tender specification — stage 2. The contract is awarded as conditional stage-payment contract in accordance with Article 23 of Regulation (EU) No 1285/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The contract shall allow: — To develop and supply to the GSA at least 3 prototypes of an Open Service Navigation Message Authentication User Terminal (hereinafter ‘OS-NMA UT’) meeting Smart (Digital) Tachograph application’s requirements at a sufficient level of maturity to, as a minimum, carry out a demonstration in a representative environment (i.e. Technology Readiness Level (‘TRL’ 7), — To assess the prototype performance under real conditions, i.e. using real Signal-in-the-Space (SiS) up to the maximum extent possible against a full set of possible spoofing threats and following the requirements of the tender specifications.
