Description

Tenders are invited by the Council from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity provide Supported Accommodation for Rough Sleepers and Single Homeless People in Danger of Rough Sleeping (Clare House) (the “Services”). A site has been identified for the supported accommodation residence at Clare House, 19, Clare Hill, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire HD1 5BS (the “Premises”). The successful tenderer (the “Provider”) will be expected to enter into a management agreement with the Landlord of the Residence to carry out Housing Management functions, such as completing tenancy agreements, collection of rent and making day to day repairs. This agreement will also include the Provider’s licence to operate within the Residence. The Provider will receive a predetermined fee from the landlord for carrying out this function which is set out in the Housing Management Specification Questionnaire. (Appendix 1) For those invited to tender (stage 2), the site will be made available for inspection (by appointment) and Tenderers will be obliged to satisfy themselves as to the local conditions, access, full extent and character of the operations and conditions affecting labour and performance of the Contract generally. The estimated value of the Support Service to be awarded is approximately £366,498 per annum, the anticipated maximum value of the Support Service over the full term of the contract is £3,664,890. There may be an April uplift on this amount which will be confirmed w/c 3rd March 2026 via Yortender. The anticipated commencement date for the Contract is 1st November 2026. The anticipated expiry date for the Contract is 31st October 2031, [with the option to extend for a further five (5) x twelve (12) months to 31st October 2036. Further details regarding the Services required are set out in the Specification and in the Conditions of Contract.
