Description
Surrey County Council has a statutory duty to provide free of charge School Transport to eligible children. The Surrey School Travel and Assessment Team (SSTAT) use the Adam IT solution to manage the tendering and awarding of contracts to approved transport operators who provide school transport for SCC school children. The tendering platform provides the ability to advertise, onboard and communicate routes for tender to approved operators. The procurement platform is the way in which the operator pool is managed to achieve a competitive and compliant bidding process to award 'routes' to the winning operator.
