The Norwegian Customs has carried out a large Organisation Development (Norwegian: OU) with effect from October 2020. The purpose of this procurement is to carry out an evaluation of the the Norwegian Custom's organisation two years after Organisation Development. The evaluation will map the degree to which the goals have been achieved compared to the previous organisation. The goals set during Organisation Development were: • Less doubling of functions • Robust professional environments • Increased manageability and development power - digitalisation • National entities and shared functions • Clear division of responsibilities • Equal practice and good quality in the completion of assignments • More flexible resource allocation and better interaction The evaluation will start from some central areas that will be able to help form a picture of how far the organisation has come in relation to the ambitions that were set and the expected effects of the reorganisation.
