Description

Tenders are wanted for a fully automated quick rt-PCR instrument for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus A, influenza virus B, and respiratory syncytial virus in sample material from the upper airways. Lot 1: Tenders are wanted for a fully automated quick rt-PCR instrument for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus A, influenza virus B, and respiratory syncytial virus in sample material from the upper airways. Due to the high infection rate of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and the danger that patients that belong to defined risk groups can develop a serious illness, patients with a newly started respiratory infection or other symptoms of covid-19 are isolated and tested for SARS-CoV-2. A quick and secure clarification of whether a patient is infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus or other relevant respiratory virus is very important for the further planning of treatment and the need for further isolation and the implementation/maintenance of infection control regimes. The rt-PCR instrument will be a supplement to the existing instruments at Store Hospital. The priority will be samples that are critical for patient treatment and/or the operation of the hospital's emergency functions. It must be possible for personnel without comprehensive microbiological competence to operate and use the instrument, and it must be possible to operate it together with other types of laboratory activities, and in the existing premises. The offered system must have a high degree of automation and flexible functionalities, and it must operate with minimum supervision after start-up. The maximum volume of the framework agreement will be 540 analyses a year. See Annex 1 - Price Sheet for further information on the estimated volume.
