Description

The UCD National Virus Reference Laboratory (NVRL) provides a diagnostic testing and reference service for clinicians investigating viral infections throughout Ireland. The laboratory is affiliated to the University College Dublin School of Medicine. The NVRL have provided a viral diagnostic service to the Irish health service for more than forty years. The NVRL performs over 700000 tests annually, involving some 120 tests for 40 different pathogens and provides specialist reference services which have been developed as a result of medical and technical expertise built over many years. The NVRL offers service users ISO accredited tests in line with national and international best practice and was involved in the national response to the recent covid 19 global pandemic.The requirement is for the Rental Cleaning and Management of Laboratory Coats for NVRL UCD. Also the provision of cleanroom cleaning supplies e.g. mopheads, cloths etc for use in rapid PCR method-based testing labs.
