The contract work consists of a turnkey contract for engineering design services for, the construction of, and guarantee liabilities for a new motorway on E6 between Storhove and Øyer. The project's stretch is a total of 9.6 km, and includes the construction of an approx. 4.4 km new four-lane motorway (with a road width of 20 m) including the Fåberg tunnel with a length of approx. 2.7 km. The project also includes pavement widening and upgrading of the section with approx. 2.7 km, and upgrading of a section of approx. 2.5 km. The lot E6 Storhove – Øyer goes through 2 municipalities; Lillehammer and Øyer. A completed zoning plan for E6 through both Lillehammer and Øyer municipalities is available. The lot E6 Storhove – Øyer goes through 2 municipalities; Lillehammer and Øyer. A completed zoning plan for E6 through both Lillehammer and Øyer municipalities is available. Some of the characteristics on the stretch: • The E6 shall mainly be constructed as a new road from the start of the section in the south and to Ensby, while the section from the Ensby area shall be widened to a standard that satisfies the H2-Standard. The current E6 here has an ADT count of approx. 11,000. From the overpass at Midtskog to the current E6 the road is constructed as a narrow four lane road with a width of approx. 16 m. From Midtskog, railings, light fixtures and pylons shall be replaced, and re-asphalted. • Two lane tunnel, with a length of approx. 2.7 km, and some challenging portaling areas. • Establishment of a crossing over the Dovre Railway in an area with several exposures. • Proximity to agricultural properties • Proximity to a municipal elevated basin at Lillehammer • Proximity to Fåberg transformer station in rock. • Proximity to an inter-municipal computer company (Norwegian: ikomm) • Proximity to the railway • Crossing a sewage tunnel to Opplandskraft The contract is based on NS 8407:2011 with fixed price and includes an introductory phase with optimisation and preparation. Planned construction start is in the second quarter of 2023 with completion by 01.07.26. Nye Veier reserves the right to adjust the deadline for completion as this may be the subject to negotiation. The planned tender deadline for the first tender is 09.09.22, with an negotiation and evaluation phase until 25.11.22. Nye Veier AS emphasises that these dates are tentative. Tenderers selected for stage 2 and who participate without being awarded a contract can demand a compensation of NOK 7,500,000 for their participation in the process.
