Description

In July 2025, An Comisiun Pleanala approved the proposed development of the first Blueway in Co Monaghan, along a stretch of the Dromore River. In order to deliver on this ambition, Monaghan County Council (Contracting Authority) has identified the need to engage the services of a multi-disciplinary design led engineering team to undertake Stages (iib) Detailed Design to (v) Handover inclusive for a purpose-built 12km (approx.) Blueway along the Dromore River from Ballybay to Lisnalong, Co Monaghan.
