Description

The design and fit out of a mini-science museum type room on the ground floor of the National Centre for Child Health Technology. The Discovery Den is an interactive exhibition space located within the National Centre for Child Health Technology (NCCHT). Designed to function like a “mini science museum,” it will be a dynamic, inclusive area freely accessible to children, families, visitors, and collaborators. Its key purposes are: • To inspire young people and adults to engage in child health technology and innovation. • To showcase the work and impact of child health technologies, through the NCCHT, nationally and locally. • To communicate the unique selling points of NCCHT (eg Children involved in the design, creating and testing of new child health technologies) • To act as a showroom and involvement space for collaborators to present innovations (note: not a commercial selling space and we need to consider the boundaries of when companies are engaging with families how what triggers any consent / PPIE / Research considerations).
