Description
Public Health Funerals is a light touch tender with an approximate total value of £168,000. The contract will run from the 1st March 2023 for 5 years to the 29th February 2028, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The provider will fulfil Calderdale Council's responsibility to provide public health funerals as in the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act of 1984, providing funerals for those deceased who have no relatives, or who do have relatives, but whose relatives are unwilling or unable to make suitable arrangements.
