Demand Responsive Transport

Description

North Lincolnshire Council (the Authority) is seeking tenders for the provision of vehicle operations in support of its Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) Service. The Authority is seeking to appoint a suitable Provider to support the Authority in achieving the key council outcome of "Connected", which is the ability for the population of North Lincolnshire to be able to access employment, education, social and leisure opportunities regardless of where they live. The aim is to provide suitable coverage of DRT across the Authority that provides key connections primarily but not exclusively to and from isolated rural areas. Where possible the ability to encourage modal shift from single occupancy car journeys in particular also needs to be promoted.
