Description
The Cirrus Consortium (The Consortium) is a procurement consortium that currently consists of in excess of 70 members including Registered Providers of Social Housing, Local Authorities, ALMOs and NHS Trusts. Members are based across England, Wales and Scotland, with additional organisations joining on a regular basis. The Consortium is seeking to establish a new framework of multiple suppliers for the supply of kitchens. Purchases made under the framework will mainly be for kitchen materials and associated services to expand upon The Consortium's existing highly successful building materials framework. This framework is not divided into lots. The outcome of the tender process will be a 4 year framework agreement expected to commence during October 2017. It is envisaged that the final framework will be awarded to approximately 15 suppliers. The framework is to cover call-off contracts made within England, Scotland and Wales, but excludes Northern Ireland. The framework is available for use by all contracting authorities as defined by Regulation 2 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 #102, including but not limited to the definable groups referenced in Schedule 4 of the Framework Agreement. The framework is also available for use by all current and future members of The Consortium. The framework supports the full range of service delivery models that may be required by consortium members for the delivery of their kitchen materials supply requirements, including but not limited to the following: — Delivery of materials directly to operatives. — Delivery of materials directly to site. — Delivery of materials to third party suppliers. — Replenishment of client stores facilities. — Collections from merchant branch network. Individual consortium members may use 1 or a range of these service delivery methods, or a variant method, for the performance of their kitchen materials supply contracts. Bespoke specifications detailing the specific service requirements of individual consortium members will be provided on a case by case basis during call-off contracts. The framework is to cover the full range of kitchen and related materials required by consortium members including, but not limited to the following: — Flat pack kitchen units and accessories; — Readymade kitchen units and accessories; — Kitchen unit doors and accessories; — Worktops and accessories; — Kitchen wall and floor tiles and associated products; — Adapted kitchen items and accessories; — Any other item that could reasonably be required by consortium members as part of a kitchen materials supply contract. Consortium members may also access the framework to purchase kitchen materials not explicitly named above.
